Hands-on
Elegant, aromatic, and deeply rooted in tradition, this class explores the generous flavours of Persian cooking. Guests are welcomed with sabzi khordan, a vibrant platter of fresh herbs, Persian cucumber, radishes, soft feta, walnuts and hummus. Served with lavash, you'll be able to enjoy while watching the demonstration or as a light snack during the class.
Get hands-on preparing a selection of Persian favourites, including saffron chicken finished with tart goji berries (zereshk morgh), golden and beautifully crisp tahdig, and flavourful lamb kotlets. Our chef will round out the menu with a beetroot and labneh salad, followed by marsala-soaked fig and mascarpone flat tarts for dessert. While seasonal substitutions may occur, this menu offers a clear sense of what you can expect.
Three beverages are included; additional drinks are available for purchase.
Dietary Information: With advance notice, this class is suitable for vegetarians, pescatarians and vegans as well as people who need gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, shellfish-free, and egg-free dietary accommodations.
Cancellations: We begin preparing for our classes several days in advance. If you are unable to make it, please give us plenty of notice. If the cancellation is received more than 72hrs before the class you will be offered a gift voucher to use at a later date. If the cancellation is received less than 72hrs before the class, we will be unable to offer a refund or a gift voucher.
Minimum Numbers: In the unlikely event that we do not have at least eight people wanting to attend a class we may choose to reschedule the class to another date. You will be offered a full refund or a gift voucher if the new date does not suit.
