Welcome to one of the most creative, and fun to use tools in a woodshop - the Wood Lathe. This course is for a person who has no prior experience with woodturning, or would like to refresh their skills. You will learn all aspects of woodturning from safety, to wood selection, to turning, sanding, and finishing. All safety equipment, tools, wood, and finishes are supplied in this course.

Students will get comfortable using the wood lathe and turning tools, and by the end of the class, you’ll create your very own wooden gavel to take home.

Registration for this class includes one 30-day adult (18+) membership to Loveland CreatorSpace after paying the $30 enrollment fee. Students must attend class to receive this benefit.
