Summer Art Adventure Camp (Ages 5-12) - Large Animals Around the World

Get ready for a wild adventure as we explore the fascinating world of the planet’s largest animals, from towering elephants to massive blue whales and more! These majestic creatures will inspire imaginative art projects as campers learn about each animal, their habitats, and how they survive in the wild.

Campers must be at least 5 years old and have finished one full year of Young K or Kindergarten on the first day of camp. Children will be grouped by age (5–8 and 9–12), and projects will be designed to build on fundamental art skills in a fun, supportive environment. Projects will be tailored for each age group.

Before registering, please carefully review our cancellation policies. These policies allow us to continue providing high-quality camps for all families. We sincerely appreciate your understanding. https://whitepinestudios.org/art-adventure-camps/

We welcome all aspiring artists of all ages and abilities. However, if your child requires additional assistance or needs individualized attention, please call the studio before enrolling in camp. Artists must be able to follow directions and work independently. Thank you.

To Help Prepare Your Child for Camp:

  • Camp runs Monday–Thursday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. On Friday, friends and family are invited to join campers at 3:00 pm for the ‘Art Show,’ a special time to showcase their creations. Camp concludes after the Art Show, and campers will take home all of their artwork.
  • Please check in your camper by 8:55 am and pick up promptly at 4:00 pm. We do not offer before- or after-care for campers.
  • Parking is available in the lot behind the studio, with limited parking on Michigan Avenue at the front entrance.
  • Campers should bring a nut-free lunch, two snacks, and a refillable water bottle with a lid. All personal belongings should be labeled with campers’ first and last names. Food may not be shared among campers.
  • Campers should bring sunscreen, sneakers, and sun hats for outside break time, weather permitting.
  • Please review the Liability Waiver Form. By signing at registration you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in the Liability and Release Waiver Form.
  • Paint can leave stains, so campers should wear old clothing or bring a smock or old t-shirt that may remain at the studio. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required.

If your camper requires medication to be administered during the camp day, all medication must be provided in its original, clearly labeled bottle, along with written instructions detailing dosage, timing, and any other necessary information.
