Summer Art Adventure Camp 1/2 day (Ages 6-9) - Art Explorers
In this 1/2 day camp, your young artists will dive into a wide variety of mediums, experimenting with watercolors, acrylics, collage, fiber arts, mixed media and more. Each day offers new techniques, and hands-on projects designed to inspire imagination and self-expression. Whether painting, constructing, or crafting, every child leaves with a deeper love for the arts. Half-day camps include one ceramic project that is inspired by the week's theme.
Campers will create and glaze their pieces, which will be ready for pickup approximately 2–3 weeks after camp ends. All other artwork completed during the morning sessions will be sent home with campers each day
Campers must be at least 6 years old and have finished one full year of school and no older than age 9 on the first day of camp.
Before registering, please carefully review our cancellation policies. These policies allow us to continue providing high-quality camps for all families. We sincerely appreciate your understanding. https://whitepinestudios.org/art-adventure-camps/
We welcome all aspiring artists of all ages and abilities. However, if your child requires additional assistance or needs individualized attention, please call the studio before enrolling in camp. Artists must be able to follow directions and work independently. Thank you.
To Help Prepare Your Child for Camp:
- Camp runs Monday–Friday from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Campers will bring home their completed artwork daily.
- Please check in your camper no earlier than 9:20 am and pick up promptly at 12:30 pm. We do not offer before- or after-care for campers.
- Parking is available in the lot behind the studio, with limited parking on Michigan Avenue at the front entrance.
- Campers should bring a nut-free snack and a refillable water bottle with a lid. All personal belongings should be labeled with campers’ first and last names. Food may not be shared among campers.
- Paint can leave stains, so campers should wear old clothing or bring a smock or old t-shirt that may remain at the studio. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required.
If your camper requires medication to be administered during the camp day, all medication must be provided in its original, clearly labeled bottle, along with written instructions detailing dosage, timing, and any other necessary information.
