Art Camp for Gender Creative Kids

This will be a full-day art camp for Gender Creative Kids (GCK) grades 1st through 5th. We define GCK as any child whose gender identity and/or expression go beyond traditional gender binaries. This is a self-identified label; all who believe they belong here will be welcomed.

At camp, we will have fun and make art in a welcoming environment that will celebrate all identities. Plenty of rainbows and sparkles guaranteed!

Teacher Description:

Gus “goose” O’Neill (he/they) has been an educator for over a decade. Originally from Buenos Aires, he currently lives in Bolton with their two amazing kids and their cuddly Tortie cat, Cora. A speech and language pathologist by training, Gus loves working in early education and with elementary-aged kids. Gus has been part of the community for a long time, having worked at Smilie, JES, and currently in Winooski. Creating community is Gus’ passion, and he wants to make sure all kids have a welcoming environment to be creative as their own true selves.
