ADVANCED 360 FEEDBACK PRACTICE LAB
Virtual Masterclass

Working with Resistance, Blind Spots & the Johari Window

Thursday, 26th February 2026 1430 to 1700 GMT (virtual)

Many leaders receive well-designed 360 feedback, yet genuine insight and sustained behaviour change remain limited. As practitioners, we often encounter defensiveness, rationalisation, or persistent blind spots — even when the data itself is robust and well-evidenced.

This small-group advanced practice lab (limited to 6–8 participants) is designed for experienced HR, OD, and independent practitioners who already work with 360 feedback and want to deepen their capability in the psychology of feedback — not just its interpretation.

The session is led by CAROLINE KATZ (Caz), Chartered Occupational Psychologist, with over 25 years’ experience in leadership feedback and development. Drawing on her pioneering psychodynamic doctoral research, Caz brings a rare depth of insight into how identity, defensiveness, and unconscious processes shape how feedback is received, resisted, or integrated.

Hosted by ELVA AINSWORTH, founder of Talent Innovations, with 30+ years’ experience designing and delivering 360 feedback for senior leaders across universities, professional services, and global organisations, including the UN system. Elva will anchor the session in real-world 360 practice, helping participants translate psychological insight into practical application within organisational, consultancy, and executive contexts.

Caz will introduce her “Keys to Opening the Johari Window”” model and work live with participants to explore how to:

  • Reduce defensiveness and resistance during 360 debriefs
  • Surface and work productively with blind spots
  • Enable individuals to absorb feedback emotionally — not just understand it intellectually
  • Increase confidence and judgement when handling emotionally charged or high-risk feedback conversations

This is not a webinar or entry-level training. It is an interactive, confidential, practitioner-level lab designed for those who want to sharpen their impact, judgement, and psychological skill in real 360 feedback situations.
