Middlebury Studio School

This class blends creative expression with fundamental techniques of drawing and illustration. You’ll choose an animal as your subject and transform it into an anthropomorphic character by incorporating human characteristics, emotions, and unexpected elements.

Through guidance, you’ll design and develop your own unique creature, using your imagination to bring a story to life. Explore techniques for adding color with watercolor, as well as refining your work with ink for outlines, details, and highlights.
