This workshop offers a gentle way to feel more familiar with how meaning is shaped through hands, lines, and movement. Think of it as a brief backstage glimpse into how stories are built in Bharatanatyam.

Vidya Kotamraju leads participants into the storytelling language of Bharatanatyam, where participants explore some of the shapes, gestures, and rhythms that appear in Vidya’s performance, Maktub: Ashes to Alchemy that will be performed the following evening on April 30 as part of RCA Presents FLUX.

• 14+ days notice: Full refund minus $10 admin fee
• 13 days or less: No refund

Registration Policy:

Waiver forms: Participants must complete and submit a waiver form.

Consent forms: Participants under 16 require a parent or guardian’s consent to sign in and out RCA programs

Note: Forms will be emailed upon registration and available at the RCA on the first day of the program
