Toller Porcorum, West Dorset
A Bible-focused Retreat/Walking Week with some guided time together and individually. An opportunity to spend time with God.
We will be staying in The Cowshed: an attractively converted barn owned and run by Dorset Wildlife Trust within the grounds of their visitor centre in Kingcombe National Nature Reserve, Toller Porcorum. The reserve is managed by the Trust as a working farm which has a wide array of wildlife since it is almost untouched by artificial fertilisers and pesticides. This will be a moderate event, although generally our walk will be shorter than usual. We can walk parts of the Dorset Jubilee Trail and the Wessex Ridgeway from where we will be staying: routes that will take us through quiet villages, pass rural churches and offer extensive views of rolling downs and secret valleys. Dorchester and the Dorset coast are both within easy reach.
Rooms are twin or single with all bedding and towels provided. We shall be group catering and taking it in turns to provide an evening meal. There will be an additional charge for the food etc. payable at the event. This will be reduced for those sharing twin rooms.
