One Time Wheel Class for Kids!

No experience needed! A wheel class for kids who are eager to get onto the wheel. This class is for ages 9-14 years old. Students will be given 3 balls of clay to throw on the pottery wheel. Students will walk away with 1-3 pots depending on the flow of class. Overall, a great experience! 

A instructor will demonstrate throwing on the pottery wheel. Students are aiming for a small bowl. At the end of the class, the instructor will label your work with your initials then pick a glaze. 

 

The pieces created must dry for at least 1 week before going into the first firing. After the first firing, we glaze pieces and fire them again. After the final firing, pots will be packaged and students will be notified to pick up finished pottery. This process takes about 4-5 weeks. Due to limited storage space, we can only hold your pottery for 6 weeks. After 6 weeks (from the date we notify that your pottery is done and ready for pickup) we will have to discard your pieces. 

All material and firings are included in the cost of the class.
