Verge Center for the Arts

Looking for a new experience in the new year? Learn the skill of relief printing by making your own cards, using the presses at Myrtle Press. The class is for beginners as well as experienced printmakers. With the knowledge learned from this class you will be able to make your own cards at home using inexpensive supplies. Each participant will make 5 cards. Envelopes for the cards are included. Sell your cards or give them to friends and relatives!

Dixie Laws is a seasoned artist with a diverse background in printmaking. Her experience extends beyond creating art; she has also shared her expertise through teaching both art . As a member of Myrtle Press, located within the Verge Center for the Arts, Dixie Laws contributes to the vibrant community of printmakers in Sacramento. Her involvement in artist-run groups such as Axis Gallery and the California Society of Printmakers underscores her commitment to the local arts scene.
