“Sweet Little Whys”
Why is THIS scene important?
In this workshop, we will be drilling how to get to the “why” of the scene. You’ve got the character, you’ve got the location, now what? Scene is falling flat? Can’t figure out the stakes? We’ll add some tools to your toolbelt - narrow your focus, connect and learn how to get there faster with your scene partner. Help your audience to lean in instead of tune out.
Ria Torricelli has been the President and Creative Director of Shore Thing Theater in Asbury Park, NJ since its opening in 2019. She has taught and coached improv for over a decade, and is the Head Coach of ComedySportz Jersey Shore. When not in the theater, you can find her hands in the dirt or on her dog.
