Basic Electronics: DC Fundamentals

Basic Electronics: DC Fundamentals is an introductory course designed for late middle school and high school students who want to understand how electricity works in everyday devices. The course focuses on direct current (DC) concepts and provides a strong foundation for future studies in electronics, engineering, and technology.

Students will learn:

  • What electricity is and how DC differs from AC
  • Voltage, current, resistance, and power
  • Ohm’s Law and basic electrical calculations
  • How to read simple circuit diagrams
  • Series and parallel circuits
  • Safe handling of electronic components
  • Common components such as batteries, resistors, switches, LEDs, and wires

Hands-on activities and simple experiments help students connect theory to real-world applications, such as flashlights, toys, and basic electronic devices. No prior electronics experience is required.

  • Saturday Class: from 10:00 to 12:30 (50-minute Sessions)
