This Members-Only Rifle Safety Course is a two-hour, instructor-led classroom program designed to establish a strong foundation in rifle safety, responsibility, and operational awareness. 

The course focuses on safe rifle handling principles, risk management, and best practices applicable to training, operational, and recreational environments. Emphasis is placed on decision-making, accountability, and adherence to proven safety standards. It is encouraged that students bring their UNLOADED rifle for the class. All rifles must have a chamber flag when entering the building. 

Course Topics Include:

• The Four Fundamental Rules of Firearm Safety
• Rifle components, function, and safe condition checks
• Safe handling, carry methods, and storage considerations
• Ammunition identification, compatibility, and hazards
• Range safety procedures 
• Muzzle discipline, trigger control, and situational awareness
• Preventing negligent discharges and common safety failures
• Legal and ethical responsibilities of rifle ownership and use

Training Environment

This is a classroom-only course with no live-fire component. Visual aids, real-world case studies, and instructor-led discussion are used to reinforce critical safety concepts. Questions and scenario-based discussions are encouraged.
