Combat Marksmanship Level 1
is a fast-paced, fundamentals-driven course designed to build a solid foundation in both rifle and pistol marksmanship under realistic conditions. This course focuses on efficient weapon handling, repeatable shooting mechanics, and rapid target engagement, emphasizing accuracy first—then speed.
Students will receive intensive instruction and repetition on core marksmanship principles, including stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger control, recoil management, and follow-through, applied to both platforms. Drills are structured to push shooters at a controlled tempo, reinforcing fundamentals while introducing time pressure and performance standards.
This course is ideal for shooters seeking to establish or reinforce correct habits while improving confidence, consistency, and efficiency with both rifle and pistol. You must take this course before attending Combat Marksmanship Level 2.
Each student will need 300 rounds for rifle and 100 rounds for pistol.
Ability to carry 4 rifle magazines and 2 pistol magazines. Pockets will not be acceptable.
Proper holster for your pistol.
