Ata Ceramics Courses

This course is intended for people who have done a least a year or more of Beginners or Mixed Ability courses before and know how to centre clay and throw a cylinder and small bowl reliably. It will focus on throwing bigger, better and more beautiful forms and look closer at glaze, what it’s made up of and how to create beautiful surfaces.

As there will be mixed abilities within the class it will be a very open friendly environment where you can be comfortably challenged no matter where you are at on your clay learning journey.

Please bring:

Apron/old clothes/overalls as you will get clay on you!

Old shoes

Small wooden board (A4 in size) to take your work home on.

Old towel

Plastic Container - for any big slops for recycling.

REFUND POLICY

To secure your place in this course online payment must be made at the time of registration.

If you need to cancel for any reason, we ask that you give 1 weeks notice before the course commences. If we are unable to fill your spot we cannot guarantee a refund if you haven’t given adequate notice. Refunds are only given in exceptional circumstances.

Clay and glazing fees are additional to lesson fees. Allow approximately $20 - $40 over the term, depending on the quantity of pieces you produce. You are able to pay for these at the studio, via eftpos.
