Course Overview

This CPD accredited half-day practical course is designed for healthcare professionals working in Primary Care who wish to develop the knowledge and skills required to safely support counselling, checking, and removal of intrauterine contraception (IUC), including both intrauterine devices (IUD) and intrauterine systems (IUS).

The course provides a structured, evidence-based overview of IUC methods, including mechanisms of action, effectiveness, and clinical considerations for ongoing management.
