Ballista Firearms Training LLC

This is an 18 hour course required as part of the application process for a NY State Concealed Carry License. This course meets or exceeds all requirements mandated by the "Concealed Carry Improvement Act".

This course is intended for both novices and experienced gun users. With an emphasis on safety and current laws, our goal is to give you the tools necessary to responsibly and legally carry a concealed handgun.

This class is fully certified and approved in Erie, Niagara and Chautauqua Counties. Our instructors are fully credentialed by the NRA and USCCA. You will benefit from a fully experienced, professional, and confident team. We are here for you!

Training date details:

This course is divided into 2 sessions. You must attend all sessions to complete the course and receive your certificate of completion.

• DRILLS USING STATE OF THE ART SERT PISTOLS
• SMALL GROUP "RANGE" SESSIONS
• SHOOTING QUALIFICATION THROUGH LIVE FIRE OR USE OF SYMUNITIONS
• PASSPORT PHOTOS PROVIDED
• SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE THROUGH THE ENTIRE APPLICATION PROCESS

·      Firearms safety, handling, shooting fundamentals

·      Range exercises

·      Official NY State shooting qualification

*Each participant will have to complete a written exam and pass with a minimum of 80%   

*Those who successfully pass the exam and qualification will be issued a certificate of completion to include in their application packet.

Please note: if you have a Felony or domestic violence conviction, are a drug user, a fugitive from justice, or a DWI conviction within the past 5 years, or would otherwise be prohibited from accessing a handgun, you would not be allowed to attend nor apply.
