Join Us for an Exciting & Essential Camp Training Weekend!

Dear Camp Staff Member,

We’re excited to invite you to our camp training seminar in Berlin, designed to fully prepare you for an unforgettable experience at Oskar lernt Englisch camps! This immersive training weekend will simulate real camp conditions (just minus the kids!), giving you hands-on experience with the skills, games, and daily activities that make camp life both fun and rewarding.

Training Details:

• • When? From 13^th March 2026 (Friday afternoon, 14:00 CET) to 15^th March 2026 (Sunday afternoon, 13:30 CET).
  • Where? JH Wannsee Badeweg 1, 14129 Berlin - it's a 10 min walk from S-Bahnhof Nikolassee.
  • Accommodation and Meals? All provided by us! Expect to share accommodation with a couple of other staff members.
  • Travel? Also covered by us - please just let us know where you are travelling from, so that we can arrange your transfer.

What’s the Training About?

✔ Get familiar with daily duties, forms, emergency procedures, and child management

✔ Learn how to conduct and facilitate engaging camp games and activities

✔ Understand how to conduct English lessons effectively in a camp setting

✔ Learn the rules, do’s, and don’ts of camp life

✔ Gain insight into both counselor and director responsibilities

✔ Learn essential camp leadership skills

✔ Get to know your potential camp team members and build strong team dynamics

Successfully completing the training moves you to a higher payment tier from your 4th camp.

What to Bring?

• A copy of your medical insurance card
• A notebook/ notepad and pens/ highlighters of your choice
• Comfortable clothes for camp activities, including shoes you can run around in
• A pair of house/ indoor shoes
• A water bottle
• Your own bathroom essentials
• A bath towel
• A positive, energetic mindset!

Additional Notes:

• Online training & assessment must be completed before attending the in-person seminar.
