Metro East Bricks

The Brick Derby is an event in which you purchase our special kits to allow LEGO cars to run on a Pinewood Derby type track. Winners will receive trophies and other rewards. We will make arrangements on how to meet so that we can get your kits to you. There will be two racing divisions for ages 4-12 and 13 plus. Check-in will begin at 9 am April 11th with the race beginning at 10 am. You must arrive no later than 9:45 am in order to be checked in.

There will also be Krispy Kreme donuts and drinks available for everyone's convenience, along with a Giant Raffle of items and experiences donated by local family-friendly businesses. Proceeds from the Derby will benefit It's Your Birthday, Inc. Their mission is to create a fun and memorable birthday experience for children in homeless and domestic violence shelters. More than $1,000 has been donated to our charity of choice at recent Brick Derbies. We hope that the Ninth Derby will do even better!
