Class Description:
This camp is designed for rising 4th- 6th graders who love hands-on creating and performance! Jennifer will spend the morning leading students on projects focused on figurative artwork. Projects will cover a variety of art media, likely including projects such as ceramic busts, observational drawing/painting, and embroidered portraits. Mickey will spend the afternoons teaching students the fundamentals of short form improv with a focus on collaborative story telling and character work. Campers will work together to feel confident in their creative brains and performance skills. Throughout the day, students will break for outdoor and social time. You'll be blown away by the art created and skills developed by the end of the week!
All projects are specifically designed to accommodate students of all skill levels and can be adjusted accordingly to meet each student's specific needs. No prior art or theater experience is needed.
