Class Description:
Students will explore the beauty of the natural world through guided nature walks, close observation, and hands-on discovery with Julie. Using found objects collected individually and as a group, students will create unique works of art inspired by what they see, feel, and imagine. Throughout the day, students will break for outdoor and social time. This class encourages curiosity, creativity, and a deeper connection to nature through playful making and exploration.
All projects are specifically designed to accommodate students of all skill levels and can be adjusted accordingly to meet each student's specific needs. No prior art experience is needed.
Teacher Bio:
Julie is inspired by the beautiful treasures found within nature and has been a guide for children since 2008. She comes to projectART as both an educator and artist with a heart for guiding children to explore and notice the creative spirit within all of us.
