Class Description:
Young artists will spend the day with Julie transforming everyday recycled materials into imaginative works of art in this playful, process-focused camp. Students will build, paint, cut, and glue while exploring texture, shape, and color. Projects encourage creativity, fine-motor development, and confidence in making choices. Campers will also learn simple ideas about reuse and caring for our planet. Throughout the day, students will break for outdoor and social time. This camp is all about joyful exploration and big ideas in small hands.
All projects are specifically designed to accommodate students of all skill levels and can be adjusted accordingly to meet each student's specific needs. No prior art experience is needed.
Teacher Bio:
Julie is inspired by the beautiful treasures found within nature and has been a guide for children since 2008. She comes to projectART as both an educator and artist with a heart for guiding children to explore and notice the creative spirit within all of us.
