Skills We Will Learn Together

• Warm-Ups: Learn how to prepare your voice, body, and focus before a performance
• Acting Skills: Explore characterisation, emotional truth, listening, and reacting
• Stagecraft: Develop spatial awareness, stage presence, and movement within a performance space
• Vocal Techniques: Build confidence with voice projection, diction, clarity, and expressive tone
• Movement & Physicality: Introduction to body awareness, gesture, and expressive movement
• Collaboration & Ensemble Work: Practice teamwork, ensemble building, and working effectively with peers
• Improvisation & Creativity: Enhance spontaneity, creative thinking, and problem-solving on stage
• Performance Practice: Apply skills in short scenes or exercises with constructive feedback and end of course performance to family and friends

Age: Students in School Years 7-9 in 2026

Dates: Monday 13th - Wednesday 15th April 2026

Time: 9:30am -12:30pm, daily

Cost

This is a free course, however, fees will be applied for late pick up. Please pick up your student promptly or inform the office if they are ok to make their own way home.
