Important Information/Dates

Class dates:

• Sunday, August 16th from 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm
• Sunday, August 23rd from 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Members: $72 Non-members: $112

Material fee:

• $5 to cover handouts to be paid to the Instructors on the first day of class.

Registration opens at Noon: Tuesday, June 16th

Registration deadline: Saturday, August 2nd

Cancellation deadline: Thursday, July 16th

Location: Room #3 at the Triangle Fiber Arts Center

Description:

• Over two afternoons, participants will learn key color concepts and practice combining colors to make weaving that sings. Concepts include hue, value, and saturation; color harmonies and proportion; the effect of weave structure on color choices; and making yarn wraps.

• No experience required.

• No required materials. Participants may wish to purchase and bring a 3-in-1 Color Tool (third edition) by Joen Wolfrom, though it is not required.

Please bring a lunch or snack if you would like. Access to a refrigerator and microwave are available in the building.
