Join us for this exploration of the feet. There are 27 bones, 33 joints and more than 100 ligaments and tendons in the foot. Mmm...sounds like they are meant to move. Often overlooked and stuffed into tight rigid shoes, the feet are an important part of our proprioceptive system which helps the body sense where it is in space. We will have a look at the anatomy of the foot and explore the way that our feet were designed to support the body and move in space. The gentle exercises or explorations are designed to bring more life and circulation to the feet and to strengthen the connection between the core and the feet. These explorations are all very doable and effective for most people.
