Adirondack Mountain Club

This trip demands a high level of physical fitness in order to complete it within the available daylight hours. ADK reserves the right to deny participation if group safety will be compromised through an individual's participation.

This program is a guided day hike to Donaldson & Emmons (elevations 4,140’, 4,040’, 14.6 miles round-trip with approximately 3,700’ of elevation gain). Please plan on meeting in the hamlet of Coreys at the intersection of Route 3 and Coreys Road by 7:30am. Please arrive packed and ready to hike. After caravanning to the trailhead, we’ll go through group introductions, a trip overview, and embark on our journey to these “trailless” summits. The trip will be led by ADK’s Education Department staff.

Prior hiking experience is highly recommended. Good physical condition, proper clothing, and proper equipment are a must.
