Class Description:
This full-day class with Cynthia sparks imagination, teamwork, and expressive fun, giving students the chance to see their stories jump off the page and onto the stage. Students will create character puppets, comic strips, story murals, and illustrated mini-books inspired by their favorite tales. They will create props and accessories to accompany the stories. Afternoons are used to bring their stories to life exploring improvisation, role-playing, and performance games that encourage movement, collaboration, and confidence. Throughout the day, students will break for outdoor and social time. Students will enjoy bringing art and stories to life, be ready for them to share their fun adventures!
Teacher Bio:
Cynthia Carroll is a retired teacher with 40+ years experience. She loves using art to enhance the magical world of children's literature. She can not wait to see her students’ imaginations soar!
