No prior experience required. All instruction is conducted with an emphasis on safety, confidence-building, and skill development
Hour 1 – Introduction, Safety & Mindset (Classroom)
Duration: 60 minutes
Objectives

- Establish safety as the foundation

- The 4 Rules of Firearm Safety
- Range commands & etiquette

Hands-On (No Ammo)
- Safe direction awareness
- Proper firearm pickup and set-down
- Checking firearm condition (clear / loaded)
Hour 2 – Firearm Fundamentals & Operation (Classroom + Dry Practice)
Duration: 60 minutes
Objectives
- Understand how pistols work
- Remove intimidation through knowledge

- What a firearm is and how it works
- Semi-auto vs revolver (basic comparison)
- Ammunition basics (caliber, components)
- Controls:
- Magazine release
- Slide
- Safety / decocker (if applicable)

Hands-On (Inert / Dry)
- Loading and unloading (dummy rounds)
- Slide manipulation techniques (female-friendly methods)
- Malfunction awareness (tap-rack overview)
Hour 3 – Shooting Fundamentals & Dry Fire Skills
Duration: 60 minutes

- Build correct habits before live fire
- Increase confidence and consistency

- Athletic stance (comfort-focused)
- Proper grip (strength-neutral techniques)
- Sight alignment & sight picture
- Trigger control (press vs pull)
- Breathing and recoil anticipation
- Follow-through
Dry Practice
- Wall drill (trigger control)

- Draw from low-ready (no holsters)
- Safe reholstering discussion (if applicable)
Hour 4 – Live Fire Range Session (1 Full Hour)
Duration: 60 minutes
Round Count: ~50–75 rounds per student
Distance: 3–7 yards
