A live, experiential introduction to Nonviolent Communication (NVC)

3 sessions—6 total hours · Virtual & interactive

Foundations of Compassionate Communication is a live, experiential introduction to Nonviolent Communication (NVC), designed to help you experience what it’s like to be in relationship with yourself and others from a place of clarity, compassion, and choice. We’ll come together to draw upon the rich experiences in our lives to try on transformation concepts, skills, and practices.

Compassionate Communication is a way of understanding what it is to be human and to have an enriching life in interdependent relationships with others. It will change your way of understanding & responding to whatever arises in your life.

Importantly, it’s not focused only on ‘communication’—opportunities to share with others arise first from skills to discern the meanings of your inner life. Rather than prescriptive scripts, together we’ll slow things down and practice skills such as feelings awareness, needs consciousness, and request consciousness.

This workshop will provide a strong foundation for you to go further in ‘deepening’ courses and practice groups if you choose to.

If you’re open to changing how you approach relationships, emotions, and conflict through compassion for self & others, please join us!

**SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE** If price is a barrier, please reach out to Rob Eames to request a scholarship at rob.eames@couplesfocus.com.
