Middlebury Studio School

In this three week after school class, young artists will have the freedom to explore, experiment, and test the limits while they paint what they love! Students will go more in depth each week as they develop skills, and most importantly discover the joy of self expression that begins to unfold when they start to hone in on what is important to them and the stories they can tell through their art. 
In addition to learning the fundamental elements of creating a finished artwork and developing fluency and comfort with the painters mediums and tools, the class will focus on encouraging creativity and painting subjects that each student feels connected to. Each week students will be guided through their projects as they build confidence with their approach and develop their artistic practice!
