Great Canadian Animals: Ink Techniques with Sharlena Wood
Course Overview: This class focuses on the intersection of fine detail and creative expression, using a variety of ink formats to render curious and wonderful animal subjects with confidence. Students are guided through a range of techniques, from classical hatching to fluid, expressive mark making, to effectively communicate depth, pattern and intricate textures such as fur and feathers. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to help beginners build a strong foundation in ink application and tonal value, while also offering optional advanced prompts and more complex textural challenges for intermediate artists who wish to push their creative boundaries.
