From Scratch: Rustic Galettes
It’s Pi Day… and we’re celebrating with real pie!
Join Allison Lindsey of The Farmer and the Baker for a cozy pie-making class that feels like spending an afternoon in a warm kitchen with good company. Together, we’ll learn how to make an old-fashioned, flaky lard crust and turn it into a simple, beautiful, rustic French-style peach galette.
No experience needed, just come ready to roll, fill, fold, and enjoy the process. Each participant will make their own galette to take home and savor later (or right away, no judgment here!)
Please bring your own rolling pin. Our hope is that once you learn the comfort and joy of homemade pie, it becomes a tradition you carry back into your own kitchen.
We value inclusion and access for all participants. We are pleased to provide reasonable accommodations. Please contact Alexianna at alexi@traditionalartstoday.org to make a reasonable accommodation request. Requests must be submitted 2 weeks in advance of class.
