Course Overview
This CPD accredited half-day course is designed for Nurses and Allied Health Professionals working in Primary Care who wish to develop their knowledge and confidence in assessing and managing Heavy Menstrual Bleeding (HMB) and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS).
The course provides a comprehensive, evidence-based overview of these common but often under-recognised conditions, supporting participants to recognise symptoms, conduct structured assessment, and understand appropriate first-line management within Primary Care. Particular emphasis is placed on applying current NICE NG88 guidance and recognised diagnostic criteria, supporting safe clinical decision-making and appropriate referral where required.
Delivered by experienced clinicians specialising in Women’s Health, the training focuses on practical application, clinical safety, and patient-centred care.
