Optimist 5 Week Half Day Morning - (Learn-To-Sail)

• Opti half day is tailored to the beginning sailor who has little or no singlehanded small boat experience. This class is designed for those new to sailing or those interested in a half day class. The last week of this course will coincide with the CSYC home regatta. Participants will have an opportunity to experience a regatta with a very low barrier to entry if interested in participating and seeing what its all about. Opti sailors usually are 8-13 years old and are 110 lbs or less. For sailors generally on the older or more physically advanced end, (10- 17 years old and 100 lbs+) the 420 full day or afternoon class will be the best fit. 
• Boats will be provided by CSYC for the class.
• Participants will need to bring a life jacket (coast guard type 3), sun glasses, sun screen, hat, and footwear.
• No class July 4.
• The last day of Class is July 17th
• Students will be invited back to attend an end of summer picnic on August 7th.

Checks from CSYC members may be put directly into the CSA mailbox box in the board room.

Note: PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION PACKETS MUST BE RECEIVED TO COMPLETE REGISTRATION. Students may be placed on a waiting list until both payment and completed registration packets are received.
