Middlebury Studio School

Enjoy some creative time in the studio during this 3-day wheel workshop! Focus on the fundamentals of making pottery on the wheel-from creating forms to refining and personalizing pieces. You’ll have the opportunity to add decorative touches using colored slips, and a staff member will glaze and fire your work.

This class is perfect for families and friends to take together, and participants with basic pottery skills are encouraged to continue developing their techniques in a supportive, hands-on environment. Clay & materials provided/All levels/Ages 8 and up*

*Please note: Because students will be using an adult potter’s wheel that requires coordination, strength, and focus, this class is suited for older children and adults.

Adults are welcome to join this class, but must register for the session to participate and use clay.
