Your Sacred You - Sharing Your Inspiration

Description. What drives you? What gives your life meaning? Share with the class a symbol that represents your passion. Let's connect at the place that drives our lives by reflecting together. Is there a person or idea or belief system that inspires you? What or who is your inspiration? What resonates for you for a meaningful life?

The goal of this course is to continue creating community by allowing students to share at a deep personal level about what is important to you in your life. Each class will allow three students to share concrete manifestations of what drives them and gives their life meaning. It could be:

    •  A photograph of someone special to you. Any visual art that is meaningful to you.
  • An object of special significance to you because of a personal connection (e.g., blanket, ashes, jewelry, stuffed animal, etc.)
  • A meaningful book that created connection for you
  •  Hand-made clothing, blankets, etc.
  •  Music (you make, wrote, or listen to)

Students will be interviewed by other students with a specific set of questions regarding what drives them, what is the object that represents that, what is the history of the object, and how do they represent the meaning of their lives.
