Calling all fans of buttons, levers, gears, and wheels! We are taking the best and most useful parts of everyday machines and remixing them to create movement, light, noise, work, and (most importantly) joy. We will be using our knowledge of machines, simple and otherwise, to build on the work of Rube Goldberg and to create machines that complete jobs most people don’t think about. We can’t wait to invent, build, create, and explore with this year’s campers.
Please keep in mind that student interest in the topic enhances not only their experience, but also that of their fellow campers.
If financial barriers would limit your participation, please email us at cese@cmich.edu to talk about how we can make our programs accessible for you.
