Spanish Language Class for Homeschoolers: Unlock the beauty of language and culture with Spanish!

In this year-long course, high school students will be introduced to the Spanish language in a fun and meaningful way. Designed for homeschool settings, this class provides a comprehensive foundation for learning Spanish while integrating cultural exploration and real-life applications.

Course Overview: This course is designed for students at all levels, from beginners to intermediate learners. Through a combination of speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities, students will develop a well-rounded understanding of Spanish. Each lesson will focus on practical vocabulary and grammar, while also immersing students in the rich cultures of Spanish-speaking countries.

What to Expect:

• Interactive Lessons: Through games, songs, role-playing, and multimedia resources, students will learn Spanish in a dynamic and engaging environment.
• Practical Communication Skills: Emphasis will be placed on conversational Spanish, helping students feel confident in speaking and understanding the language.
• Cultural Exploration: Students will also explore the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries, learning about traditions, history, art, and cuisine.
• Personalized Approach: Each student’s learning style and pace will be taken into account, with customized assignments and exercises to reinforce their progress.
• Flexible Format: As a homeschooling class, lessons can be tailored to fit your family's schedule and your child's individual needs.
• Outside of Class Time: Students should expect to spend about 45 minutes per day on this class

Course Goals: By the end of the course, students will be able to:

• Apply grammar rules to improve sentence structure and expression
• Appreciate the diverse cultures of Spanish-speaking countries

Why Learn Spanish? Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world, and learning it opens doors to new cultures, travel experiences, and career opportunities. Whether your child is just starting out or looking to improve their Spanish skills, this class will create a positive and encouraging environment to grow in language proficiency while having fun!

The course fee is $350 + $35 for required books for a total of $385. A non-refundable $100 deposit is required in order to complete your registration. An early bird discount of $25 will be applied if registration is completed by May 31. Instructions for submitting that payment will be emailed to you after you submit your registration. The balance of the course fee is due by August 13, unless a payment plan has been arranged with the teacher by that date.
