Figure Drawing and Painting with Steve Rose

Course Overview: In this two-day intensive workshop, you will learn to capture the essence and presence of the human figure through observation, contemplation and thoughtful application. Working with a model, participants will explore the fluidity of movement and the expressive power of the human form through both subtle and dynamic representations, using a mix of drawing and painting approaches. A deeper understanding of the shapes and structures of human anatomy will translate to and elevate work across other artistic genres.
