This virtual event meeting will provide an evidence-based overview of best practice recommendations for the assessment and clinical management of women with spondyloarthritis throughout the pregnancy continuum. The session will cover key considerations from initial diagnosis to pre-conception counseling, and through the course of pregnancy and postpartum.

A unique aspect of this workshop is the interplay between medical management, physiotherapy and occupational therapy for optimal patient outcomes. Our clinic has taken a unique and comprehensive approach to the field of Reproductive Women's Health, truly integrating medical and rehabilitative science in women with SpA, focusing not only minimizing disease activity rather optimization of function and health status.

Objectives:

1 : Identify key differences in the clinical assessment and management of spondyloarthritis in pregnant and postpartum individuals compared to the general patient population

2 : Summarize current, evidence-based practices and updated recommendations for medication, therapeutic interventions, and other non-pharmocological management strategies for women with spondyloarthritis throughout the pregnancy continuum

3 : Develop interprofessional strategies for collaborative care by discussing specialized case studies with colleagues from diverse professional backgrounds
