Course Overview: In this introductory immersion in hand-stitching techniques, you’ll build a working knowledge of knitting, including casting on, knit and purl stitches, casting off and basic pattern reading. You’ll also explore a variety of decorative embroidery techniques for embellishing fabric or garments, along with an array of visible mending methods. With an emphasis on skills acquisition and process, participants will develop familiarity with materials and patterns while completing a selection of personalized projects.
