We welcome you to join us in a supportive and creative environment to promote personal and professional growth & self-care. Each month, we will offer a creative process for healing and connection, or alternatively, join us and work on your own self-directed creative process with an inclusive community that values the power of co--creation!
Last Friday of the month from 12:00pm-1:30pm
1111 N 13th Street, Suite 114 Omaha, 68102
Suggested donation of $10
Donations for art supplies & the time of facilitators is welcomed, but our open studios are FREE!
Jump on in and join us! If we have less than 3 people sign up, we will automatically postpone the Open Studio, so please sign up if you're joining!
*Please be sure to un-sign or message us if you need to cancel. We understand things come up, but wish to bring our facilitators up to speed on participant numbers to ensure we offer you a wonderful experience!
*This month, we'll be doing watercolor in small postcard or trading card (playing card sized) sized art compositions on cold press paper. Come engage in a process of creating a small series of cards that reflect different facets of you. This is a loose, playful and simple process for beginner and expert painters/artists alike. Enjoy getting comfortable with the watercolor mediums and brushes, and use our stencils, or hand draw or paint aspects of your emotions, life, relationships, dreams or obstacles in ways that bring color and texture to your personal narrative.
This group varies month by month, using expressive arts processes that bring artists into new practices that invite play, free expression and approaches that remove barriers to the creative, expressive process.
NO ART BACKGRUND NEEDED! We are process-oriented, not outcome or product-oriented. We are interested in the power of the art process and co creative process, with the way art looks or evolves being unimportant.
