Claymates for Kids

For Kids age 7-12. (minimum 4 students, maximum 8)

4 Saturdays; May 2, 9, 16, 23 1-3 pm ET

Fee: $70 member. $85 nonmember (four 2-hr sessions) Registration closes April 29

Explore the world of clay during this 4 week class! Young artists will learn multiple hand building techniques to create fully functional masterpieces. No experience with clay is necessary, but experienced students may pursue their own projects under the guidance of the instructor. At our final day of class, everyone will practice simple glazing methods which bring each object to life. Students regularly bring home several pieces which they built themselves, start to finish. They will also be welcomed into a fun and caring environment where their creativity is encouraged , while making new friends along the way. Pick-up finished work 2-3 weeks after last class.  All supplies included. Ages 7-12.
