Arts Experience at Loyalist

Course Overview: If you enjoy writing, whether it’s for pleasure, profit, or a sense of purpose, this course is for you. This one-week experience is designed to support writers at any stage, working in whatever style matters most to them. Participants are invited to bring writing projects already in progress or to develop something entirely new. Through guided discussion, practical exercises and thoughtful feedback, writers will refine their work while gaining new strategies, techniques and perspectives. Just as importantly, the course draws on the collective energy of the group, offering the opportunity to learn from fellow writers and their varied approaches. At its heart, this course brings writers together in a supportive, encouraging environment to enjoy the craft of writing and discover how strong writing skills can empower communication, creativity and everyday life.

• 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Important Notes:

• Course fee: $400.00 (General) or $365.00 (Senior 55+). HST is not included in the listed price.
• This course takes place at the Bancroft Campus: 195 Hastings Street North, Bancroft, ON K0L 1C0
• Campus information, including room number, parking, directions, etc., will be provided closer to the start date.
• A refund (less $20.00 administrative fee) will be issued if you withdraw from a class at least 14 days before the start date of the class. After this deadline, no refunds will be issued.
• If a course is cancelled by Loyalist College, registered students will be provided with a full refund. College decisions to cancel a course will be made 14 days before the course start date.
