Objectives: To provide delegates with the knowledge to prevent spills and mitigate uncontrolled releases.

  • Controlled waters and marking of drains
  • Legislation, enforcement actions and reporting
  • Demonstration of a range of spill kit types, absorbents and the typical stocking of spill kits for tasks.
  • PPE
  • Containment and clean up techniques
  • Disposal
  • Site contingency planning
  • Drain sealing techniques
  • Spill exercise
