One-day Linocut workshop with Courtney Arnold

What you'll learn

All you need to know, to create great prints without a press. This course is designed to make Linocut printing achievable for all. Most people don’t have a printmaking press at home. And what a shame that printmaking should stop after the course! This course will give you enough hints and tips to carry on printmaking from your kitchen table.

Who is it For?

Suitable for beginners- no prior experience necessary. 

What's included?

All materials included. 

What to bring?

• Please bring an apron and old clothes that you don’t mind getting inky
• A hair band to tie hair back when inking is useful for those with long hair
• A notebook
• A packed lunch. If the weather is kind, you’re welcome to enjoy lunch on the picnic tables outside the studio, or you can eat at your workbench. Alternatively, there are two café's at the Cider Press Centre or a village shop nearby
• For safety reasons, please wear closed-toe shoes.

Additional Information

Let us know if you suffer from weak wrists etc and we can provide you with a softer lino. 

Group courses run with a minimum of four participants. If this number isn’t met, we’ll be in touch at least two weeks beforehand to offer alternative dates or a full refund. The maximum number of participants on a course would be eight.
