One-day Linocut Workshop - Impressions of Nature

What you'll learn

You’ll learn to carve, ink and press. On this course you will take home your carved link plates and prints to display with pride at home. Bring along some foraged forest finds from pine cones to feathers to inspire your print.

Who is it For?

Suitable for beginners - no prior experience necessary. 

What's included?

All materials included. 

What to bring?

• Please bring an apron and old clothes that you don’t mind getting inky
• A hair band to tie hair back when inking is useful for those with long hair
• A notebook might be useful to take notes.
• If the weather is kind, you’re welcome to enjoy lunch on the picnic tables outside the studio, or you can eat at your workbench. Alternatively, there are two café's at the Cider Press Centre or a village shop nearby
• For safety reasons, please wear closed-toe shoes.

Additional Information

Let us know if you suffer from weak wrists etc and we can provide you with a softer lino. 

Group courses run with a minimum of four participants. If this number isn’t met, we’ll be in touch at least two weeks beforehand to offer alternative dates or a full refund. The maximum number of participants on a course would be eight.
