Claymates For Teens

For Teens ages 13-17 (minimum 4 students, maximum 8)

4 Saturdays, May 2, 9, 16, 23 3:00-5:00 pm ET

Fee: $100 member. $115 non-member (four 2-hr sessions) Registration closes April 30

Explore the world of clay during this 4-week class! Teen artists will learn multiple hand building techniques and get a chance to try the pottery wheel. No experience with clay is necessary, but experienced students may pursue their own projects under the guidance of the instructor. We will practice simple glazing methods which bring each object to life. Students regularly bring home several ceramic masterpieces which they built themselves from start to finish. They will also be welcomed in a fun and caring environment where their creativity is encouraged, while making new friends along the way. Pick-up finished work 2-3 weeks after last class.   All supplies included. Age 13-17.
