Prolonged Evacuation Casualty Care - PECC

Prolonged Evacuation Casualty Care (PECC)

4-Day Capability Program | 40+ Hours | Certificate Awarded

Prolonged Evacuation Casualty Care (PECC) is a standardized, scenario-driven training program designed to prepare providers and teams to manage critically injured patients when evacuation is delayed and resources are limited.

PECC bridges Tactical Combat Casualty Care and prolonged evacuation to higher levels of care, emphasizing sustained casualty management, team coordination, and decision-making under operational constraints.

Delivered by a multidisciplinary cadre including operational medical providers (MD/PA) and experienced SOF medics, the program centers on hands-on laboratories and high-fidelity simulations rather than lecture-based instruction.

PECC is applicable across military units, law enforcement agencies, governmental organizations, disaster response teams, rural EMS systems, and clinical providers operating in austere or resource-constrained environments.

Course Highlights:

• TCCC and Prolonged Casualty Care integration
• Team-based extended care simulations
• Performance evaluation and structured feedback
• 40+ hours of training
• Prolonged Evacuation Casualty Care Certificate awarded upon completion

This program aligns with current CoTCCC and PCC guidance and is designed to translate clinical best practices into executable operational capability.
